Review: Beautiful Sunglasses from GlassesShop.com!

Hello Lovelies!

Today I’m bringing you a review of the amazing online eyeglasses store GlassesShop.com !

The lovely Laura from the store recently contacted me to ask if I would be interested in working with them – I wear glasses on a daily basis (I can’t actually see the top letter on an eye chart with out them!) So this was something I was very interested in; especially as I usually buy my glasses on-line as most high-street chains don’t have a great collection or are very, very expensive. Laura said to pick out any of the glasses frames or sunglasses that I liked and they would make them up with my prescription and send them out to me.

Vintage Weight & Pay @ The Hexagon

Hello Lovelies,

You know what, I’m going to get straight into this, if you know me then you know I love a good bargain. I grew up buying things from charity/thrift stores, jumble and carboot sales. A friend and I spotted the Vintage Weigh & Pay being advertised on Facebook and decided to go along – we both love a good second hand sale and this promised to be delivering at least 6 tonnes of vintage goods including berets, dresses, Dr Martens and converse. All of my favourite things. At £15 a kilo this was not a cheap venture and whilst some things were capped such as the Converse and Dr Martens this could get pretty costly pretty quick, but I really wanted some new boots and berets and the photos shown on the FB page looked great, so we figured, hey, why not!

We decided on getting the £3 early entry and turned up at 9:50am to find that there was no sign of the sale anywhere – the Hexagon was locked up and there was no information anywhere (Hey to the queue jumpers who pushed in front of us whilst we were waiting). The doors to the Hexagon opened at 10:00 am and we found there were quite a lot of people waiting downstairs already who had gone in via another entrance. Honestly, it would have been a really, REALLY good idea to have some sort of signage pointing at where the sale was taking place or which entrance we should have been taking.

Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Wonderball wand review

Hello Lovelies!

I know what you’re thinking, two posts in one week?! Surprise! I’m hoping to get back to 3x a week, so get ready for more fun an adventure with me!

CoCo LoCo wonderball

Over the last 15 years, I have searched high and low for a curling wand that will deal with my hair; I hate to think how many different ones I have tried. For reference, I have longer than shoulder length hair – it’s quite thick, does whatever it likes, is pretty much poker straight and really requires a LOT of effort to get it to do anything remotely interesting. My previous, ancient Babyliss curling tongs are completely useless on it now which is why I was looking for a replacement in the first place and had been eyeing up the Wonderball. For starters, it looked awesome with its rose gold and pink colours, had added coconut oil in the wand and promised to give either curls or waves depending on whether you wrapped the hair around the balls or in the grooves – Ideal! I had already purchased the Lee Stafford CoCo Loco Blow and Go Nuts hair dryer and a few other products from the CoCo LoCo range and had already been impressed, so when I was offered the opportunity to review theses for a fair and unbiased review I jumped at the chance.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf + Welcome Amiibo update!

img_5760
 Hello Lovelies!

Today I want to tell you about one of my favourite games – Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It seems rather fitting to tell you now because of the recent update! New Leaf isn’t a recent release it’s over 3 years old, and Mr Lock gifted it to me, but I’ve been playing it all this time in the blossoming town of Bopolis! (Mr Lock named my town when I couldn’t think of a name!) I don’t often get time to play games any more so I love being able to pick this up as and when.
