Inktober Day 1 (So far so good!) – Akko – Little Witch Academia
It’s that time of the year again! Every October since 2009 Inktober runs – the challenge is to draw one picture everyday ink Ink. I took part last year, but only managed 12, but I had so much fun that I was massively excited to take part again this year and I’m aiming for all 31!
I’ll be posting my drawings everyday (hopefully!) and using some of the prompts from the official list.
Lets get drawing!
I’ve got some exciting news, there’s a brand new UK based kawaii store called Pastel Panda Wonderland! UK based kawaii stores are always good news! Today I’m bringing you a fun interview with the owner of Pastel Panda Wonderland and a cute little review of some very lovely items she sent.
Blippo Kawaii shop is exactly what it sounds like, an on-line store selling a massive variety of kawaii merchandise with the added bonus of selling candy too with free basic shipping to the UK! If you’ve been reading my blog for a few years, you’ll remember that one of the kawaii subscription boxes I used to get was from the same company.
Blippo have recently started selling Fukubukuro lucky bags for candy, stationary and kawaii items and so my Bestie and I decided to do a joint order for some, as we really wanted to know what was in them! We opted to buy one kawaii and one candy mystery bag together and share the contents of between us. Seeing as we were placing an order anyway we took the chance to order a few other things we’d wanted to try as well.

Birchbox is a monthly beauty box priced at £12.95 a month (That includes P&P). I’ve always been curious about Birchbox. From photos I’ve seen around the internet it’s always looked like a high quality beauty subscription and seemed to have a good selection of items included. The one thing that put me off, and it’s the same reason I cancelled some of the other subscription boxes I had, was that sometimes (or quite a lot of the time in past cases) you get items you don’t want or won’t use and end up binning or giving them away. I’ve been keeping an eye on Birchbox’s previous boxes and I’ve only spotted a couple of bits I wouldn’t use.
This month however, I got a little bit obsessed over the really colourful mermaid box they were sending! Fortunately for me I came across someone selling their box as they didn’t like the contents and were going to return it, so to save the middle man I bought it from them to try out!
If you’ve not received your box yet and don’t want to spoil it don’t hit the read more button!
